Access and disabilities statement, what you can expect
Access For All
The Albert Hall Conference Centre welcomes all customers and we aim to provide the highest possible standards of service to all. We are happy to show anyone around who would like to come and see the facility, to resolve any potential issues or concerns they may have in advance of their visit.
CredAbility
The Albert Hall Conference Centre is an accredited facility and has been verified as being an accessible venue for disabled people by CredAbility – an independent quality mark run by disabled people.
Access
We aim to provide the highest possible standards of service to all of our customers and we hope that your visit to us will be an enjoyable one. Facilities available at the Albert Hall Conference Centre for customers and visitors with disability needs are as follows:

Accessible Entrance is located directly off the Maid Marion Way round about adjacent to the Royal Bank of Scotland. Access is gained via a small ramp leading to a level entrance labelled Entrance 4 above the Door. An intercom is provided at the base of the ramp, where access can be requested. Once alerted a member of our team will open the door and are happy to assist if required.
A drop off area is available at this entrance; however the vehicle will need to be parked around the front of the building on North Circus Street. There are a number of disabled bays and street parking available for blue badge holders.
Main Entrance is Located on North Circus Street (One Way), Opposite St Barnabas Cathedral and Adjacent to Nottingham Playhouse. Access is gained via large dark wooden double doors labelled Entrance 1 or 2 above the door. A Large wide stone and Marble Staircase of 13 steps leads down to the Ground floor Reception Area.
Facilities
All the facilities are available on the ground floor, which has flat access and wide door widths throughout. The main auditorium (The Great Hall) is on the first floor, which can be accessed by a lift located close to the accessible entrance. A Hearing Loop is available in the Great Hall during performances.
For performances there is a specific accessible seating area located near the first floor lift access, on the upper tier of the auditorium. There is space for up to six wheel chair users and carers. More seats are available close by for people with walking difficulties.
Toilets
An accessible toilet is situated in the ground floor lift lobby, with toilet and sink including grab rails. An emergency pull cord is linked to an alert system which notifies the Albert Hall staff.
The main toilets are located in the reception area next to the main entrance.

An accessible taxi service is available from Central cars who can be contacted from reception, please ask for more details.
All of the centre staff are available and happy to assist with access requests, please ask at reception on arrival or during prior to your visit.
